To make sure your sauna is ready to go as smoothly as possible, we’ve created this simple step-by-step setup guide. Whether you’re handling the build yourself or bringing in a professional, this article covers everything you need to know, from delivery, to assembly.
We’ve also included our step-by-step build video so you can follow along visually.
Step 1: Delivery Confirmation
Once you’ve placed your order, our distribution partner, Mango, will contact you directly with a confirmed delivery date and time.
👉 Top tip: As soon as you know your delivery date, get in touch with an electrician to arrange your installation (more on that below).
Step 2: Book Your Electrician
The MyoSauna Classic requires professional installation to safely wire in the 6kW sauna stove. Booking your electrician early ensures a smooth process.
Make sure you assemble the sauna before your electrician arrives — they’ll need the structure fully in place to complete the wiring.
Step 3: Sauna Delivery & Build
When your sauna arrives, it’s time to assemble. You can follow the included instruction manual or watch our YouTube tutorial for a full walkthrough:

Most customers find the build straightforward, but having a second person to help makes the process much easier.
Step 4: Electrical Installation
With your sauna built, your electrician can wire in the stove. Here’s what to expect:
-
Check your fuse box
-
They’ll confirm your consumer unit has spare capacity and RCD protection for a new sauna circuit.
-
-
Plan and run the cable
-
The electrician will choose the best route from your fuse box to the sauna (through walls, under floors, or armoured cable if outside).
-
-
Install an isolator switch
-
A safety isolator switch will be fitted near the sauna so the stove can be shut off when needed.
-
-
Connect, test & certify
-
The stove is connected, tested, and you’ll receive an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).
-
After this, you’re ready for your first session.
Information Your Electrician Will Need
To make the quoting process smoother, prepare this information before contacting electricians:
-
Sauna stove details: 6kW power consumption
-
Location: e.g. garden, garage, or basement
-
Distance from your fuse box
-
Cable route: through walls, under floors, or armoured cable outdoors
-
Fuse box details: age, type, and spare capacity (include a photo if possible)
How to Get the Best Price on Installation
Installation costs typically range between £300 – £500, depending on the complexity of your setup. Some electricians may quote higher (£800 – £1000), but in most cases you should be able to find a fairer price.
Here’s how to keep costs down:
-
Get 3–4 quotes for comparison.
-
Ask for a breakdown (labour vs. materials and certification).
-
Confirm any extras upfront (e.g. consumer unit upgrades, long cable runs).
Ready to Sweat
Once your sauna is built and wired, you’re ready to fire up the stove and enjoy the ultimate recovery experience.
